Why nature-based solutions
While aviation improves efficiency and explores sustainable fuels, nature-based solutions remain essential. TreePassport connects airlines to verified, community-led restoration projects to help close this gap — turning abstract carbon metrics into tangible, audit-ready proof that passengers can see from their seat.
Not an airline? Banks, NGOs, ministries and companies offset carbon with TreePassport too — see exactly how under Climate Impact Dashboard.

The technology platform
Each tree is digitally registered with GPS location, species data, planting records, and survival monitoring using mobile tools, satellite imagery, GIS mapping, and carbon modelling. Passengers scan a QR code to see the exact coordinates, species, and photos of the trees their flight sponsored — and corporate clients audit their live-tracked footprint on an ESG dashboard.
