I want to sponsor trees
Choose your trees
Pick a number of trees (from $4 (KSh 500) each), optionally dedicate them — a gift or a memorial — and pay by M-PESA or bank.
We plant & Geo-Tag
Our grower teams plant indigenous seedlings in an active project zone. Each tree gets a weatherproof QR tag, and the planter’s phone records its exact GPS position and first photo.
Verification
A field officer reviews every planting — species, location, photo — before it enters the public registry. Nothing counts until it’s verified.
Your passport arrives
Each tree gets a lifetime passport number (TP-KEN-2026-000123). Open it any time: location, height, health, and every photo ever taken of it. Dedicated trees include a printable TreeCertificate.
Watch it grow
Growers earn a wage for every verified growth check-in, so your tree keeps being visited, measured, and photographed — for life.
I want to plant & track my own
Get the app & a QR tag
Field teams and registered planters use the TreePassport Android app. QR tag sheets are issued by the project office (or printed from the admin console).
Scan at the planting hole
Standing at the spot, scan the tag. The app captures the GPS coordinates automatically — no typing, no guessing.
Photo, species, height
Snap the seedling, pick the species, enter the height. Works fully offline — everything queues on the phone.
Sync & get verified
Back in coverage, one tap uploads the queue. Once a field officer approves it, the tree is live on the public map — and in your personal forest.
Check in, earn, climb
Return visits take 30 seconds: scan, photo, height. Each verified check-in earns planting wages, badges, and carbon points on the leaderboard.
Then verify us
Every claim above is checkable: open the live map, click any tree, read its passport, and check its exact GPS position on the live, deep-zoom map.
