Getting started
- 1Install the appJoin the Android Internal Testing group and install TreePassport securely through Google Play. (iOS support coming soon.)
- 2Sign in or create an accountRegister for a free account, or log in if you already have one.
- 3Plant or exploreIf you are a field planter, enable Planter Mode to record new trees and update existing ones. Everyone can explore the Live Tree Map and view their Tree(s), Mini Forest, AgroForest or the Grown/Planted Forest.
- 4Track growth over timeFollow tree check-ins, monitor carbon impact, and view your digital tree passports as they develop.

Offline-first: plant anywhere
No signal in the field? No problem. Every tree, photo, and growth update is saved on your device and automatically syncs when you’re back online. Nothing is lost.

Add your own established forest
Already have a Mini Forest, AgroForest, or grown forest? Geo-tag it on site, document the trees with photos, and submit it for review to receive a verified TreePassport ID and Certificate.

You can register an existing tree or planted forest, whether it’s a dense Mini Forest, an agroforestry system, or a fully grown forest, and add it to the Live Tree Map. In the app you can geo-tag your tree(s) or forest from your exact location on-site, or register it later from the web.
- 1🔐 Sign in (free)Available in the app or on the web. Registering a tree or forest requires an account.
- 2Name it & pick the type 🌿Choose a name for your forest and select its type: Mini Forest, AgroForest, or Planted & Grown Forest.
- 3📍 Geo-tag the locationTap “Use my location” to capture GPS automatically, or manually enter the coordinates.
- 4📝 Add the detailsEnter the number of trees, estimate the area, upload a photo, and add a short story about who planted the forest.
- 5🚀 SubmitYou instantly receive a TreePassport ID. After a quick review, your forest is added to the Global TreePassport Registry and Live Tree Map, ready for adoption and support.
All submitted Tree or Forests are reviewed before appearing on the Global TreePassport Registry.
